2. Professional Standards & Age Requirements

hiyrd is exclusively for professionals and aspiring professionals aged 17 and above. The hiyrd Wallet, rewards and paid campaigns are available only to verified users aged 18 and above in the United States.

We maintain professional standards while allowing authentic workplace discussions. Think of hiyrd as the real conversations that happen after the corporate conference - honest, sometimes raw, but always professional in intent.

No anonymous or entertainment-focused accounts
One account per person. Accounts may not be bought, sold, rented or transferred

Harmful Business Practices

Pyramid schemes or MLM recruitment
Get-rich-quick schemes
False job postings or recruitment scams
Intellectual property theft or trade secret sharing

Platform and Rewards Abuse

Fake or duplicate accounts
Verification farming or attempting to verify accounts that are not real people
Self-referrals or circular referral arrangements
Referral spam: mass-posting invite links in comments, messages or unrelated content

Any attempt to game rewards, campaigns or Wallet payments

4.3 Real Humans, Real Content: Our AI Policy

hiyrd is the verified human network. AI can fake a lot. It can't fake you.

What this means in practice:

Every profile on hiyrd must belong to a real, individual human being
Content you post as yourself must actually be you: your face, your voice, your work
Presenting AI-generated video, audio, imagery or synthetic personas as your authentic self is a serious violation
Deepfakes and AI impersonation of any real person get zero tolerance treatment and immediate removal

What's fine:

AI-assisted editing tools (captions, colour correction, background cleanup, scripts you then deliver yourself)
Talking about AI, demonstrating AI tools as part of your professional expertise, and AI-related career content
Clearly labelled AI-generated material used as an obvious illustration within otherwise authentic content

The line is simple: AI as a tool in your workflow is fine. AI as a replacement for you is not. In paid campaigns this line is a contractual term: submitting AI-generated content and presenting it as your own authentic work forfeits payment under the Campaign Terms of Service.

4.4 Paid and Campaign Content Standards

Paid partnership content is welcome on hiyrd. It has to follow the same rules as everything else, plus:

Campaign and sponsored content must be genuinely created by the verified user who posts it
All paid content must be clearly disclosed in line with FTC endorsement rules, for example with #ad or #sponsored
Undisclosed paid promotion is a violation and may forfeit campaign payment
Campaign content must follow the campaign brief and all content standards in these guidelines
Fake engagement on campaign content (bought views, likes, comments or engagement pods) forfeits payment and may result in account termination

Campaign work is governed by the hiyrd Campaign Terms of Service, accepted each time you apply.

5. Verification: The Verified Human Standard

Verification is the heart of hiyrd. It confirms one thing: you are a real, individual human being with a genuine professional profile.

How it works

Set up your profile, add your content, submit for review
Our team reviews and approves genuine profiles
Verified users unlock the hiyrd Wallet, campaign applications, rewards and referral earnings
Verified US users aged 18+ receive a $5 verification reward paid to their Wallet

What verification means

You are a real person and your profile represents you
You are eligible to earn on hiyrd

What verification does not mean

hiyrd has not audited or endorsed your credentials, work history or claims
Verification is not a professional licence, qualification or recommendation

Keeping verification honest

Verification can be removed at any time if a profile turns out to be fake, transferred, automated or misrepresented
Losing verification means losing access to the Wallet, campaigns and rewards
Rewards obtained through fake verification are clawed back under the Terms of Service

7. Professional Content Moderation

We use automated systems to identify content that may violate our policies.
All automated actions that affect visibility, restrictions, or account status are reviewed by a trained human moderator.
Users can appeal any decision at support@hiyrd.com or through in-app reporting tools.
Appealed decisions are reviewed by a human moderator and may be reversed if incorrect.

7.2 Moderation Philosophy

With our 17+ rating, we focus moderation resources on what matters:

Priority: Scams, fraud, and illegal content (protecting users)
Secondary: Harassment and discrimination (maintaining professional environment)
Rewards and campaign integrity: Fake accounts and gamed earnings are treated as fraud
Community-driven: Users report unprofessional content
Context matters: We understand workplace venting vs. actual harassment

7.3 Content Not Allowed Under Any Circumstances

Hate speech or attacks against protected classes
Violent, graphic, or gory content
Self-harm, suicide, or encouragement of unsafe acts
Illegal activities or promotion of criminal acts
Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse

Verified users aged 18+ in the United States can earn real money through the hiyrd Wallet:

Campaign earnings: Paid content and creative work for businesses, applied for through the campaigns section and governed by the hiyrd Campaign Terms of Service

All earnings are paid through the hiyrd Wallet via Stripe and can be withdrawn instantly with no minimum. The price shown on a campaign is the full amount paid to you. Earning on hiyrd requires a genuine verified profile, genuine human-created content and honest participation. Gaming any of it forfeits earnings under the Terms of Service.
