hiyrd Campaign Terms of Service
Effective Date: 10 August 2026
Version: 1.0
These terms apply every time you apply to complete a campaign on hiyrd. You accept them by ticking the box when you apply. They sit alongside the hiyrd Terms of Service, which continue to apply. If anything here conflicts with the main Terms, these Campaign Terms win for campaign work.
Campaigns are offered by hiyrd Inc., a Delaware corporation. Your contract for campaign work is with hiyrd Inc., not with the business the campaign is for.
1. Who can apply
To apply for a campaign you must:
- be 18 or older
- be a resident of the United States
- have a verified hiyrd profile in good standing
- have an active hiyrd Wallet with completed identity verification through our payment provider Stripe
Campaigns are not available outside the United States at this time.
2. Applying and selection
Applying for a campaign is not acceptance. hiyrd chooses who is selected for each campaign at its sole discretion, and applying gives you no entitlement to be selected, to receive work or to receive payment. We do not have to explain selection decisions. Selection is never based on race, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age or any other characteristic protected by law.
If you are selected, the campaign brief tells you what to make, the deadline and the amount you will be paid.
3. Creating and submitting content
When you submit content for a campaign you confirm that:
- it is your own original work, created by you
- it follows the campaign brief
- it does not use music, footage, images or other material you do not have the rights to
- every person who appears in it has given you written permission to be in it and for it to be used commercially
- it is genuine human-created content. Submitting AI-generated content and presenting it as your own authentic work is a material breach of these terms and forfeits payment for that campaign
- it does not contain fake engagement, misleading claims or anything that breaks the law or the hiyrd Terms of Service
If your content will be posted publicly as part of the campaign, you must clearly disclose that it is paid content in line with FTC endorsement rules, for example by including #ad. We will tell you in the brief where disclosure is required.
4. Deadlines
Submit your content by the deadline in the brief. If you miss the deadline without agreeing an extension with us first, we can remove you from the campaign and reassign the work, and no payment is due.
5. Approval, revisions and rejection
All campaign content must be approved by hiyrd before payment.
- We review submissions against the campaign brief.
- We may ask for up to two rounds of revisions. Revision requests will be specific and tied to the brief.
- We can reject content only where it fails to meet the brief or breaks these terms.
- We aim to respond fast. If we have not approved, rejected or requested revisions within 7 business days of your submission, your content is treated as approved and payment is due.
Once hiyrd approves your content, payment is yours. If the business later rejects content we have approved, that is between hiyrd and the business. We will not ask you for the money back and it will not count against you.
If your content is rejected, you are not paid for it and Section 7 does not apply to it. Rejected content stays yours.
6. Payment
- The amount shown on a campaign is the full amount paid to you. hiyrd charges its fees to the business separately. Nothing is deducted from the amount you see.
- Payment is credited to your hiyrd Wallet immediately when your content is approved.
- You can withdraw instantly through Stripe. There is no minimum withdrawal amount.
- Payments and withdrawals may be delayed or withheld only where required for fraud review, identity verification or by law.
- You are an independent contractor and responsible for your own taxes. We will collect a Form W-9 where required and report your earnings on Form 1099 where the law requires it.
- If a payment is made in error or obtained through fraud or breach of these terms, we can reverse it or deduct it from your Wallet balance.
7. Ownership of campaign content
This section applies only to content we approve and pay for.
- On payment, you assign to hiyrd Inc. all right, title and interest in the approved content, including all copyright and other intellectual property rights, worldwide and forever. hiyrd can use it, license it and let the campaign business use it for any purpose without further payment to you.
- You waive any moral rights or similar rights in the approved content to the fullest extent the law allows.
- You grant hiyrd and the campaign business the right to use your name, image, likeness and voice as they appear in the approved content, including in paid advertising, in connection with that content.
- You keep a non-exclusive right to display the approved content in your hiyrd profile and your personal portfolio. You may not sell it or license it to anyone else.
Content we do not approve and pay for remains yours in full. On request we will delete our copies of rejected submissions.
8. Exclusivity
There is none. Completing a campaign does not stop you working with any other brand or platform, including competitors of the campaign business, unless a specific campaign brief clearly states an exclusivity period and you accept that brief.
9. Cancelled campaigns
If hiyrd or the business cancels a campaign before you submit, no payment is due unless the campaign brief specifies a cancellation fee, in which case that fee applies. If you have already submitted conforming content before cancellation, Section 5 applies as normal and approved content is paid for.
10. Confidentiality
Campaign briefs may contain unreleased products, launch dates or other confidential business information. Keep brief contents confidential and use them only to complete the campaign. This obligation continues after the campaign ends.
11. Your status
You complete campaigns as an independent contractor. You are not an employee, agent, partner or representative of hiyrd or of any campaign business. You have no authority to act on our behalf and no entitlement to employee benefits. You control how and when you do the work, subject only to the brief and the deadline.
12. Fraud and breach
If you obtain campaign work or payment through fake accounts, misrepresentation, plagiarism, undisclosed AI content, fake engagement or any other fraud or material breach of these terms, we can withhold or claw back payment for the affected campaigns, remove you from current campaigns and suspend or terminate your account under the hiyrd Terms of Service.
13. General
- These Campaign Terms are governed by Delaware law. The dispute resolution and arbitration provisions in the hiyrd Terms of Service apply to campaign disputes, including the small claims option for payment disputes.
- We may update these Campaign Terms. The version you accept when you apply is the version that governs that campaign. We record the version, date and time of each acceptance.
- If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
